One of Hempfield COB's wonderful quilters, Ruth Meily, sewed the patches and medallion from this quilt many years ago, Janice Shenk sewed all the pieces together in 2025, and ladies from Hempfield hand-quilted this beautiful quilt before Ruth passed away this year. She was delighted to see the finished product before she went to heaven.
